Addicted to food… magazines

Ok, I admit it, I am a try-hard foodie. I LOVE cooking shows and am absolutely addicted to food magazines - my favourites are Good Taste (maybe because editor used to be my editor at one of my previous jobs) and Super Food Ideas. If I see a new one at the shop, I will buy it.
But to be quite honest, I never really make any of the stuff in there, or what I see on TV for that matter. I just love to check it out, but while I am an ok cook, i like to stick within my comfort zones.
So here we go, here is a little challenge for myself. I am going to try some of the recipes in these magazines, I’ll let you know how I go.

I adore food magazines too, I read all the comments from faithful readers who do the whole weekly dinners set out in the mag with utter amazement. I’m only allowed to make salad’n’something here. My children won’t eat a cooked vegie, let alone a casserole or pasta bake.
OH Paul (DH) and I LOVE The food Network. We adore cooking shows and recipes books… I pick up the odd mag but mostly it’s all for drooling because I am on Weight Watchers at the moment (well… forever really lol)
he he, Jade I lost 30 kilos or so on Weight Watchers - you know what the best little treat is? Frozen mini light mars bars - they are only 1 point each! Unless you eat the whole pack and then it’s 12 points, bugger…
