Look at me look at me!

There is a little girl in Charley’s swimming class who is a fantastic little swimmer. She is probably a bit younger than Charley and is a real water baby, and can swim on her own with a back bubble on. She’s a real cutie. But then there is the case of her mother.
Now I can understand being proud of your child, but there comes a point where pride becomes plain old showing off. She deliberately puts the child in situations where the little girl can show off exactly what she can do - like have her jump off a high block while the rest of the class is doing the hokey pokey. Again, this would be fine - but if you watch her, she isn’t watching her daughter - she is looking around to see who is watching! And I am not over exaggerating - it is really obvious! I have even caught her having a little snigger when other children have chucked tantrums at the thought of being dunked under water.
Maybe I am watching a little too closely, but I can’t help but get a little "urked" about it - get a clue lady!

UGH, take a Tiara and a sash to your next swimming lesson, for mother and daughter. Chuck a Charley poop in the water with the kid when no one is looking, then scream indignantly and snigger as Mum takes her out of the pool in shame >
Feel sorry for her. If she needs to do that she possibly doesn’t have confidence in herself and seeks other peoples approval to feel good about herself.
I love onehautemama’s solution!
Oooh, you’re nasty OHM… I love it!
Yep. I love the tiara idea… make sure it’s really annoyingly large and sparkly.
