The weight game

February 27th, 2007

When I Charley, I put on about 25 kilos. In the first couple of months after bringing her home from hospital, I managed to lose around 10 of those, but in the six months that followed, put on about 3 or 4 kilos again.

Then I bit the bullet, and decided that I was tired of being fat. So with some hard work, I lost about 18 or so kilos  in about 4 months. I was looking pretty fab if I do say so myself.

But that was around a year ago now, and while I have generally managed to maintain my weight, about 4 kilos has crept on, and while I am exercising every day, it is my eating that is out of control - sometimes I just can’t help myself!

So here is the challenge - TO LOSE 5 KILOS BY MARCH 20. The reason for this date is that I have my staff Xmas party on a Harbour Cruise, so it is good deadline for looking fabulous.

I am going to go back to my Weight Watchers diet and this morning have gotten out and dusted off the Points books. The advantage I have this time is that I am really fit so exercising won’t be a problem, but at the same time I will have to work extra hard to get the weight off. It is also harder when you don’t have much to lose.

So here we go - wish me luck!

18 kilos in 4 months??? Holy shmoley! Great work! I’ve lost three kilos since I had my Charlie, but I think that was mostly cotton wool in my head and bullsh*t. :) Well done!
