Hospital, apartment, argh!!!

March 27th, 2007

When it rains it pours - how true!!

After a busy week was just starting to get everything under control, and then the rains came - no sorry, the pains came! On Sunday morning I was rushed to hospital with excruciating abdominal pain. It is Tuesday and I have just come home. And with no diagnosis. I have been poked, prodded, bruised, and not to mention had to deal with an older woman snoring like a trucker in the next bed, and the one across the room accidently pooing all over the floor (poor thing), and still don’t know what happened!!

And then to add insult to injury, I get a phone call from my real estate agent, informing me that my landlord wanted to move back into my apartment, which meant that I would have to move out. Great. I only moved in 6 months ago! Don’t worry, I made sure to mention that I was in hospital so everyone felt bad about the situation!

Urgh. But one good thing has come out of it all. Maybe all that money we are forced to pay for Private Health will help out - the ambulance costs are covered. Lucky for them I say, don’t cross a woman scorned!! :)

Huge hugs! The last time I was told to move, it was just after I;d had a baby and was in hospital for depression! We found a house & moved 2 weeks after I got out of hospital!

I hope you find a house soon, and they work out what was wrong with you.

So what happens now? Do you have to go back for any further tests?

Well I have to agree that hopsital is no fun. After you left the ward, I was the only patient under the age of 80 for the next 3 days. How depressing. Anyway just got out today, after 9 days in that hell hole, with no diagnosis on my weird symptoms!
So glad to be home…..
