I’ve grown a green thumb
May 28th, 2007
It happens every time I move into a new house (which is actually quite a bit) - I get right into gardening.
And the urge is even stronger now that I have a bigger space to fill - so I have been planting and pruning and seperating and spending money that I don’t have on plants that if going by my past experiences won’t last very long. But I am hoping the dead plant curse only applies to the numerous times that I have attempted to grow herbs and that my beautiful flowering plants that I got for my birthday won’t end up under the bbq with the pots that housed other failed attempts.
So wish me luck!!!
I’ll keep you posted (no pun intended).

I think I have the same thumb as you! Good luck and hope your luck changes this time around.
I used to do that too - kill everything I ever tried to grow. My advice is to start with something simple and see how you go. I started out with cherry tomato plants and now I have carrots, mint, peppermint, snow peas, lavender, a zig zag tree and a cyclamens all doing well (touch wood). Growing stuff from seeds is so cool! Probably have to wait for the warmer weather though.
Good luck!
