Especially when is dishes up some nice weather! Was a nice day today - some personal training for me and Rich and my cousin and her hubby (ouch - what a killer!) and then was just a nice day of hanging out, doing a bit of shopping that we can’t afford and then just bumming around the house.

Perfect - just the way I like it.

Well my Nan is 81 today - and still going strong mind you! She still gets around in her little blue bubble, and my cousin and I took her out this morning to see Blades of Glory, which isn’t really my kind of movie, but it was funny enough for a Friday morning. Didn’t think an 81-year-old would like it, but nan seemed to love it! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAN!!

I am so sick of washing! In particularly folding it and putting it away. Cause Charley has been over the last week or so, the clean washing has been just piling up at the end of the bed and yesterday I just couldn’t bare to hunt through it for a pair of socks, so I put a movie on and began the arduous task of getting through it.

Over the last couple of days I have realised just how good a little girl Charley is. Even though sometimes she drives me crazy when we are at home, lately when I have needed her to behave, she has been an angel.

Well I got a little bit of respite from the sick child today (who is well on the mend mind you). As well as having her sleep all night and then sleep in till 10, I had my MIL over this afternoon for a spot of babysitting while I had my hair cut and had a bit of time out - which was fantastic.

Does anyone wrestle with their toddler to give them medication? I almost had to put Charley in a headlock this morning to give her Nurofen and her antibiotics after the "special drink" trick saw her turn her nose up with an "I don’t like it". So I had to go in military style  - I wonder if anyone else has any suggestions?

I’ve been a little bit MIA the last couple of days - I’ve been holed up inside with a sick little girl. Charley has a chest infection and hence a cough that makes her sound like a barking seal.
