mad mad mummy

Well I got a little bit of respite from the sick child today (who is well on the mend mind you). As well as having her sleep all night and then sleep in till 10, I had my MIL over this afternoon for a spot of babysitting while I had my hair cut and had a bit of time out - which was fantastic.

As I think I have mentioned, it has been about 7 months since I had my hair cut - and when I say cut, I mean cut. it is REALLY short again, but that is what I wanted. It’s weird, everytime I look at myself I don’t know whether or not I like it - but I guess I am just getting used to it. I will have to take a photo and post it for you all.

Also, today I bought a new laptop - online, so it will be a couple of days before it arrives. As well as the fact that my current laptop is getting a little dated, during the week Charley decided to pour a piping hot cup of tea all over me (luckily she didn’t get herself!) and I had the computer on my lap, and while the damage wasn’t bad, my lappy is slightly disabled with the left and right arrow keys biting the dust. So I figured if there was any time that I had to get a new laptop, it may as well be just before tax time so that I can take advantage of the deduction straight away!
