EXHAUSTED!

Well I’ve been a little quiet lately - but I have a good excuse!

You may have noticed that mumspace.net has a new homepage, which is the reason for my quiet mumspace. In designing the new homepage we have tried to give visitors some more insight into the mumspace.net community and give members a central place where they can browse the community and see what people are doing in real time.

But it hasn’t come without its problems! Most of the design etc was finished mid-last week, but then came the technical problems. And to add to the pressure we knew that mumspace was getting some press coverage on Sunday, and we really wanted the new homepage up by then - which is what led to the all-nighters!

We are pretty close to finishing now - there are a couple of links on there that we have disabled, mainly due to the fact that we just ran out of time. Sometimes it just gets to the point where you HAVE to go to bed, like last night at 4am! But these will all be fixed soon enough and we can get on with the redesign and update of the rest of the site!

I just want to thank everyone for their patience - we are a small operation here - two of us with a two-year-old and another full-time and part-time job. But rest assured we are working our butts off to make mumspace the best it can be. :)

The home page is fab. I can’t believe the difference it has made. I noticed all the increased activity before I even read the newsletter, now I know why.
