mad mad mummy

So today we went to Symbio Wildlife Gardens with my SIL Tanya who is over from Canada and her two girls, Kiera and Siarah. 

It was a lovely day - beautiful Spring weather, not too hot, not too cold. And I really loved the park. Small enough that you could get everywhere easily, but big enough that it had plenty to see. And you actually got to get up really close and personal with the animals. The girls got to pat a koala, litterally cuddle a kangaroo, and spent a part of lunch time chasing a peacock around! I even bent down and patted an echidna which was cool.

The girls were good, and it was a fairly trouble free day. They all get along really well, and it’s lovely to see as they only really met a couple of weeks ago. The girls got pretty tired in the end, but all in all it was a great day. Tanya said that she would email me the photos so when I get them I’ll make sure I post them.
