When do you put your tree up?

We tend to put ours up the first weekend in December, so this weekend looks to be decorative!

Haha - I put mine up about 4 weeks ago as I was running out of storage space and wanted somewhere to put the presents.
We usually put ours up on December 1, whenever that falls, so some years it’s a mad after work rush. This year due to constant nagging from two very insistent kids we put it up on Sunday last. It didn’t help that Nan and Poppa, Aunty Sarah and Aunty Ronnie and cousins had all done their’s already….and we were last!
I even have a present under it already….
So we gave in and now it’s done
I’m a bit of a stickler for December tree putting up. I too have a couple of small people nagging about the tree, but I really think the earlier it goes up the longer the tease. Although the next month will fly by for grown ups I am sure it will be a slow 30 days for little people! Looks like this weekend will see a lot of christmas trees and lights coming to life. It’s still exciting isn’t it? Even for old ducks like me!
Ours went up the 1st December. And I specifically bought a little one as ours has already been pushed over and dragged around. The joys of having little children lol
